Released last month...
Put me in a special school,
'Cause I am such a fool,
And I don't need a single book to teach me how to read.
Who needs stupid books?
The alphabetey crooks,
And I will learn by studying the lessons in my dreams
So turn off the T.V.
'Cause that's what others see
And movies are as bad as eating chocolate ice cream
They only sicken me
Don't let me play football
I'll sack the quarterback and jack the brother of the ball
I'm a troublemaker
Never been a faker
Doin' things my own way
And never givin' up.
I'm a troublemaker
Not a doubletaker
I don't have the patience to keep it on the up.
I picked up a guitar,
What does this signify?
I'm gonna play some heavy metal,
Wishing you would die.
You wanted arts and crafts?
How's this for arts and crafts?
(guitar solo)
(That's Right!)
I'm growin' out my hair
I'm movin' up to Cherokee
I'm gonna be a rockstar
And you won't go to bed with me
(?)
'Cause I can't book a job,
Like any other slob,
Punchin' in and punchin' out.
It's up to (?)
Marryin' a bi-atch,
Havin' Seven ki-ads,
Givin' up and growin' old,
And hopin' there's a god.
I'm a troublemaker
Never been a faker
Doin' things my own way
And never givin' up
I'm a troublemaker
Not a doubletaker
I don't have the patience to keep it on the up
I'm gonna be star
And people will crane necks
To get a glimpse of me
And see if I am havin' sex
And studyin' my moves
They try to understand
Why I am so unlike
The singers in the other bands
I'm such a mystery
As anyone can see
There isn't anybody else
Exactly quite like me
And when it's party time
Like 1999
I'll party by myself because I'm such a special guy
I'm a troublemaker
Never been a faker
Doin' things my own way
And never givin' up.
I'm a troublemaker
Not a doubletaker
I don't have the patience to keep it on the up.
Keep it on the up
(I'm a trouble maker)
Keep it on the up (UP!)
(I'm a trouble maker)
Keep it on the up
(I'm a trouble maker)
Keep it on the up (UP!)
(I'm a trouble maker)
Never givin' up
A while back I tried FLEA TREATS, an ALL NATURAL B VITAMIN FLEA REPELLENT for my cats. I honestly did not think it would work when I had given them half the bottle and they still had fleas. I called the company and was told to "be patient". I have to say I really thought it was just a ruse to get me to buy another bottle. I am very pleased to tell you that: It was NOT.
Somewhere towards the bottom of the first bottle the FLEA TREATS had finally built up in their systems and now they no longer have any fleas. No, they do not.
I do still find one, possibly two, fleas on them when they come in from the hillside, but those fleas are on top of the hair, not settled in for the long haul down at the hair root/skin level - what I mean to say is they may bring in a flea or two once in a blue moon when they are out in the tall grass, but they don't seem to ever even get bitten anymore and no longer suffer from flea INFESTATION. There is NO constant scratching and itching, no 100s of fleas, no flea dirt, no flea eggs, no little colony throwing picnics on the cat's back.
I am on my second bottle of FLEA TREATS,
1. THEY WORK, but take a little while to build-up in the animal's system.
2. They must taste OK, because my cats eat them with no hesitation. However, the tablets are slightly large in size for a cat, so I usually cut them in half or I crush them and put the tablets in their wet food.
3. I did notice a change in their appetite (decreased) when I started giving them the FLEA TREATS, but they got used to the B vitamin rush and now are back to regular dietary habits.
4. I've spoken to the owner of FLEA TREATS on the phone. I trust this company with the health and well being of my cats and my credit card number.
5. I will continue to give my cats FLEA TREATS because they are safe and reasonably priced, but my main reason is because THEY WORK.
I can't decide which is going to be my Song of the Day.
And then there's always Billy Squier...
Third time is the charm.
I finally got curtains I like (at half price even)!! They are chocolate brown crinkle sheers. I hung them with some cream color linen tab tops I already had behind them and they look very nice together. I think some gold ribbon sewn along the top would make a nice trim. I have $6.76 left out of the $50. I budgeted, so decorative ribbon trim it is, or maybe some little bells, that'd be cute. I'd love that when the wind blows.
Here are the original green striped ones. Nice, huh?
Here are the new ones. Maybe at night I can get a better shot - the sun was streaming through the window when I took these.
No OMG, this is such a blast from the past it deserves to be typed all the way out: Oh My Gawd.
I have had the same curtains for some time now. I like them, they are Ok, but they got kind of warped and shrunken even though the tag reads: Machine Washable. They are pale green striped linen tab-tops and I may have a picture somewhere and had I thought it through before hand I would have taken a picture before I took them down and now they are in the laundry pile by the front door.
I was over at my friend's house the other night and she has new window treatments. She used sheets and these little ring clips to hang them and it looked so nice I wanted to try it too.
Mine look almost like those, but mine are brass and a 3/4 hook not a circle.
I was surprised at how hard it is to find "open-stock" sheets, not SETS. I do not need a flat and a fitted, I need two flats! And I certainly wasn't buying two sheet sets just for the FLATS. I finally found some open-stock sheets at Mervyn's. Two different kinds, one group was plain solids, the other was fun prints. Too fun for me, clouds and rainbows aren't my thing, but they did have these kind of interesting ivy covered ones.
So, I bought one of each, one green, the other ivy and brought them both home and tested them out. I didn't take a picture of both green panels because it looked like sheets - I mean THEY ARE sheets, but they ivy ones don't look like BED sheets, just sheets of material and I couldn't wait to take the green ones down, and put them back in the bag to return.
The ivy is a bit busy, and they really clash with the blue chair. I suppose now I need to decide if they are going to drive me crazy in a day or two, and return them and try to find more single flats somewhere that are nice/soothing to look at or decide I love the look of these and go get a sheet to cover the recliner, and no the green ones I am returning don't really match or I'd use them to cover the furniture from the cats - I tried it already... Close, but not close enough.
I need a job. I have far too much time on my hands to shop for home furnishings and make shortbread biscuits.
Sugar - 1/4 cup
Flour - 1&1/4 cup
Cream butter and sugar together, add flour, only just mix, make a loose ball, roll it out to 1/2" thick, make little fork holes, REFRIGERATE for at least an hour or more, then bake at 300 for 30 minutes.
Cool well before removing from pan.
Cut in wedges, eat whole round, make another before anyone notices.
In honor of Canada Day, show us your favorite Canadian.
If the question had been show us your favorite Canadian band, I'd say SMOASP in a heartbeat.
But, it wasn't.
My favorite Canadian is Tommy Chong - from Sister Mary Elephant to That 70's Show, and everything he's done in between.
Spend an hour with the real Tommy Chong:
